This Moment Poem

by | 21 Jul 2014 | Happiness

In this moment

           I feel joy,

In this moment

           I am love,

In this moment

           I am infinite

time interwining, my playmate in flow.

Beyond this moment

           thwarted dreams,

Beyond this moment

           doubt and fear,

Beyond this moment

           death is sure,

                     time the thief, stealing all.

Behind this moment

            regret and hurt,

Behind this moment

            nostalgic deceit,

Behind this moment

             distorted meaning,

                       time pressed down, imprinted lies.

But in this moment

              I am joy.
