Text reads: "What's Inside?" in a gradient font transitioning from deep blue to teal. A delicate illustration of holly leaves and berries overlays part of the text, adding a festive touch. The design has a light, wintry feel.

A quiet place to land

A gentle, self-paced space to pause, reconnect with your senses, and listen to your inner wisdom, without pressure to improve or perform.

A softer way to come home to yourself

If you’re tired of trying to improve yourself, optimise yourself, or push for clarity you don’t currently have, this is not another thing to do.

What’s Inside? is a safe place you can return to pause when life feels noisy. It doesn’t demand anything from you. It’s not something you need to complete or keep up with.

It’s just somewhere you can come back to month by month, to help you stay anchored.

This is not about striving or self-improvement

Many people who find their way here aren’t broken or lost. They’re simply tired of being told they need to become someone else to feel at ease.

In a world that constantly pulls us outward (towards more information, more effort, more noise) it’s easy to lose touch with what’s already within.

What’s Inside? doesn’t offer answers to follow.

It creates the conditions for remembering your own, so you can:

Reconnect with your senses and the energy of the seasons.

Notice what’s already present.

Trust the quiet wisdom that lives inside you.

Stay grounded in the natural world.

What’s Inside? is an invitation to slow down and listen.

This isn’t a cognitive process alone.

It’s something we access through metaphor, story, sensation, and connection with the natural world.

A self-led journey where you’re not alone

What’s Inside?
is a self-led, online reflective space you can move through at your own pace. It is deeply rooted in the cycles of nature and the Wheel of the Year.

It’s designed to meet you where you’re at month by month, even if you’re low on time or energy. That’s why there are no live calls to attend, timelines to follow, or expectations about how often you show up.

You’re simply free to move at the speed your life allows.

You’ll also have access to our private community on Substack, where others are walking their own reflective paths.

You can dip in for a season, stay for two seasons, or unfold throughout the full Wheel of the Year. Each month, you’ll also encounter elements of astrology, herbal lore, and seasonal symbolism to help you explore.

A message from Rachel

How this space is held

Rooted in the living world

Everything inside What’s Inside? is shaped by the rhythms of nature and the seasons. All themes, words, imagery, prompts and practices are chosen to reflect what is unfolding in the natural world and to help anchor yourself in it.

A place to slow your nervous system

This is a space designed to soften rather than stimulate. There is nothing to keep up with, no expectation to move forward. You’re invited to pause, slow down, and explore your inner landscape with gentleness.

A rhythm you can return to

New material appears monthly, but you don’t need to follow along in real time. Some people pop in throughout the month, while others prefer to set an evening for exploration. The structure exists to support you, not to direct you.

Words from people who have spent time inside this work

These reflections come from earlier versions of What’s Inside?, when it also included a physical box. While the format has changed, the heart of the work remains the same: to slow down and explore our inner world through metaphor.

🤍 “The depth of discovery is rich and exciting. It’s creating lots of question and introspection.”

"The depth of discovery is rich and exciting. It's creating lots of questions and introspection. Thank you Rachel for considerable thought and detail, such an innovative way to personal growth."

🤍 “It truly is a sensory feast, thought provoking and inspirational.”

"As a child one of my favourite books was The Box of Delights by John Masefield, so imagine my joy at receiving my own box of delights this morning, courtesy of Tea & Empahy. It truly is a sensory feast, thought provoking and inspirational."

🤍 “Having this session to bring all of the findings together is really helpful.”

A place to land, guided by the seasons

What’s Inside? follows the rhythm of the year as a way to honour your energy and capacity. It’s a journey of self-discovery, not a destination.

That you can return to whenever you need grounding

Think of it less as a course, and more as a well-stocked inner room you can enter whenever you need.

Many people move through this space slowly. Some return to the same material again and again.

That’s not falling behind. That is the work.

I’m Rachel Anderson

I’ve spent many years working as a coach, writer, and guide – and just as many years learning to listen more carefully to myself.

Through my work, motherhood, burnout, and seasons of deep questioning, I came to realise I didn’t need another framework to follow.

What I needed was a light structure that helped me notice what was already here. A way to stay connected to Soul and Source through nature, metaphor, and reflection, without pressure to perform or improve.

What’s Inside? grew from that need.

Because when we are rooted in who we are, like a tree, we grow naturally into being all that we can be.

In truth, I made it for myself. But if you’re longing for something similar, you’re very welcome to join me.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to join "What's Inside?" in the beginning of the year to make the most of it?

Not at all! You can join What’s Inside? at any point in the year, and there’s no “catching up” required. This isn’t a programme with a fixed start or finish. It’s designed to meet you where you are. Some people follow the seasons as they unfold. Others arrive mid-cycle and explore what’s most resonant right now.

Is there live support from Rachel?

What’s Inside? is designed to be self-led, so there are no live calls you need to attend. That said, you’re not alone. Each month includes a recorded guidance session from Rachel that you can return to whenever you need grounding or orientation. You’ll also have access to our private Substack community, where you can share reflections or ask questions.

Subscribers also receive reduced rates for 1:1 coaching, should you ever want deeper personal support.

How are the contents chosen each month?

Everything inside What’s Inside? is personally curated by Rachel. Themes, prompts, and sensory suggestions are shaped by the rhythms of the seasons and the Wheel of the Year. The materials are chosen to invite you to explore through metaphor, sensation, and your own inner knowing. There’s no right interpretation. What matters is what it evokes for you.

What if I don’t have much time or energy?

This space was created with that exact reality in mind. You don’t need to engage with everything all the time. Many people choose a few elements that resonate each month and let that be enough. You can always return later; there is no expectation to keep up.
